    Hey there,

    mixing and fine-tuning the new songs goes on while Carsten already finished the album cover. Keeping everything inside the band means an amount of extra work which we would never have expected to this extent, but it provides us with the ability to offer you a package of music, lyrics and artwork that perfectly fit together. We're also working hard on the bonus CD as we plan some surprises in addition to what's already been told in the forum.

    Hi metal world,

    Last Friday we did the photo shots for promo and cover artwork. Hell, what a day! Our friend Morti, not only a brilliant photo artist but also singer of KREON, pushed us from one location to the next, keeping us busy from dawn till dusk, climbing old machines, kneeling in deep dust ... luckily, we had quite a few good places near to our studio, so it was still possible to get a good cup of coffee during the breaks - absolutely necessary!
    The sessions for LOEAHH ans DOTC were real work, too, but now it was the first time I believed those models who keep saying they had a hard job ;-)
    Anyway, Carsten and Morti developed some really great ideas to include our faces in the artwork concept and we're really looking forward to see the results.

    auf dem Titans of Metal 2008 werden wir nicht spielen, da wir derzeit nicht beweisen können, dass wir auch mit neuem Sänger und Drummer die Bühne rocken werden. Sorry.

    Hallo Freunde der Festung,

    Sänger Jioti Parcharidis und Drummer Laki Zaios haben HUMAN FORTRESS verlassen.
    Wir sind stolz, unseren Produzenten Carsten Frank als neuen Sänger sowie Arndt Krone als neuen Mann am Schlagzeug zu präsentieren.

    Seit Jiotis Einstieg bei Victory 2006 kursierten Gerüchte und Falschmeldungen über seinen vermeintlichen Ausstieg, er blieb jedoch weiterhin unser Frontmann, mit dem wir auch die Gigs im Frühjahr 2007 bestritten. Aus gesundheitlichen Gründen hat er sich aber letztendlich doch gegen seinen Verbleib bei HUMAN FORTRESS und die Mitwirkung an der Produktion des neuen Albums entschieden, während Laki sich aus privaten Gründen verabschiedet.

    Beide verlassen die Band als Freunde und haben erstklassige Nachfolger: Carsten hat sich als Sänger und Produzent von GALLOGLASS international einen Namen gemacht, Arndt ist als Absolvent der Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA), Sessiondrummer u.a. für Torfrock sowie als Schlagzeuglehrer und -dozent ebenfalls bestens qualifiziert.

    Hello friends of the fortress,

    our singer Jioti and drummer Laki have left HUMAN FORTRESS.
    We are proud to present our producer Carsten Frank as the new singer and Arndt Krone as the new man behind the drums.

    Since Jioti joined Victory in 2006, there were rumours and false news going round about him having left us, but he actually remained our frontman and played the shows in spring 2007 with us. Nevertheless, for health reasons, he eventually decided not to stay and work on the new album with us. Laki says goodbye for private reasons.

    Both remain friends and have first-class successors: Carsten has gained world-wide reputation as the singer and producer of GALLOGLASS while Arndt graduated at Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA) before working as a session drummer and drum teacher.

    Hi everyone,

    work on the new cd carries on. Beside the recording and mixing of the album there's a lot to do about the artwork, bonus stuff, paper work and things you wouldn't even dream about.
    One not too complex but still quite irritating example: building your own one studio means having to clean it yourself - when renting a studio, a band never needs to bother about that ;-)

    it's us again, writing from the depths of the studio. We're not only working on the new album but also slowly preparing to hit the stage again.
    Don't expect a too quiet Easter 2008 as we were invited to that year's TITANS OF POWER-Festival.
